Janet Grenzke

 

Janet Grenzke is partner in and founder of Abacus Associates. A recognized expert who brings more than 30 years of survey research experience to each campaign and project, Janet has conducted surveys and provided strategic advice to presidential campaigns in three countries and to winning campaigns in the United States at the federal, state, and local level as well as to education associations in nearly every state in the nation and numerous other progressive organizations across the country. Janet was featured as a “Mover and Shaker” in Campaigns & Elections.

 

A veteran educator and scholar, she has trained political activists at national seminars, including those sponsored by Campaigns & Elections, The Women’s Campaign Fund, and by education, transportation, human rights, environmental, and tobacco control groups.

 

Prior to founding Abacus Associates in 1990, Janet conducted research and taught courses as a member of the political science faculties of Smith College and the Universities of Massachusetts and Michigan. Janet holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan. She is the author of the book Influence, Change and the Legislative Process and numerous journal articles on electoral politics.
